The Office of Housing Residence Life provides a living environment where comfort and safety are prioritized, while also fostering community and personal development and growth.

Andersen Hall, our 20-story residential tower attached to the main MSM building, is home to a vibrant community of student musicians.

In addition to offering some of the best views of the city, Andersen Hall includes:

13 floors with housing for approximately 525 students
79 practice rooms
24-hour security
Trained Residence Life staff
A laundry facility
A well-equipped fitness room
5 student lounges
A dining facility is located in the school’s main building adjacent to the residence.

Andersen Hall Rooms

Within Andersen Hall we offer mostly double rooms, however we offer a limited number of single and triple rooms. Each room includes the following:

Extra Long (XL) twin bed
Extra Long (XL) twin mattress
Dresser
Wardrobe
Desk*
Desk Chair*

*Triple rooms do not include desks or desk chairs.

Meet The Residence Life Staff

When you live on campus in Andersen Hall, there’s always staff available to provide support. We have a team of professional staff members as well as 19 student staff leaders, called Resident Assistants (RAs), who are passionate about building community in Andersen Hall and making it a welcoming place for all residents.

Our Residence Life staff have offices located on the 6th Floor of Andersen Hall with staff who are available to support residents M-F 9am -6pm. If you ever have questions, contact us at Residencelife@lazy8motel.com

After hours and on weekends we have live-in professional staff members who are available to provide support to students when needed. Every night we also have two Resident Assistants on duty who residents can call when they need assistance.
